The Meeting was attended by 52 delegates comprising officials and representatives from the customs administrations of the four (4) member countries, the BIMP-EAGA Facilitation Center (BIMP-FC), World Customs Organization (WCO), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), ASEAN Secretariat and Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID)

3rd Customs, Immigration, Quarantine and Security (CIQS) Task Force Meeting

Desc: 1. The Third BIMP-EAGA Customs, Immigration, Quarantine and Security (CIQS) Task Force Meeting was held on 26 – 27 May, 2008 at Hotel Kapuas, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The 1st Heads of Quarantine met on 25 May, 2008. The meeting was attended by 84 delegates representing BIMP-EAGA officials and the BIMP-EAGA Facilitation Center (BIMP-FC). The meeting was also attended by the representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

9th MEDCo Meeting

Desc: The 9th MEDCo Meeting primarily aimed to formally install the new set of Council members and provide the venue for the discussion of critical issues relating to Mindanao which require the Council’s intervention. It was attended by the MEDCo Chair, the MEDCo Secretary, and other members of the Council comprised of the RDC and REDPB Chairs and Co-Chairs as well as Congressional and Private Sector Representatives (PSRs). Besides the MEDCo members and MEDCo Secretariat (MS) staff, Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo graced the event as well as Press Secretary Jesus G. Dureza.

BIMP-EAGA Airlines Meeting and Convergence Meeting of the BIMP-EAGA Air Transport and Tourism Sectors
